Progress Reports

We are committed to keeping parents/guardians fully informed of their son/daughter’s progress during their two years with us. Student reviews take place during Consultation Days/Evenings, normally online. All Parents/Guardians are invited to attend alongside their son/daughter and the reviews take place twice a year for each year group. The review reports are available on our Connect site via each student’s Individual Learning Plan. Dates and information about booking these will be communicated via ParentMail.

Workload

Expectations are high at Carmel and students can expect to have work to do on most evenings. This should amount to around fifteen hours of private study per week for those following an A Level (or equivalent) course. This independent study is vital to develop the skills required for further study or employment.
