Our Year 0 Medicine students attended talk from members of our Higher Education Alumni last week.

Jake Crawley and Anthony Lavercombe are former Year 0 students who studied the Foundation Health & Veterinary Science Programme. Before starting at Carmel, Jake and Anthony had not studied beyond GCSE. After completing the year 0 course, they went on to study Medicine at the University of Liverpool and are thoroughly enjoying their time there. They both said the Programme at Carmel prepared them well for studying at university. We are so grateful to Jake and Anthony for visiting us and sharing study tips, advice and insights into university life.

It’s so inspiring and encouraging to see how much our Year 0 students can achieve. We wish Jake and Anthony every success in the future!
