This week our Upper Sixth UAL Creative Practice students launched their Artefact Exhibition with a Private View in college for friends and family.

The exhibition artwork was Inspired by a visit to Manchester last October. Students were asked to find artefacts that interested them in Manchester Museum and The Whitworth Gallery.  These artefacts generated stimulating starting points for their projects.

Head of UAL Creative Practice, Kate Moffatt, said: “Each student has responded in an individual, sensitive way to the subject matter and refined and developed their ideas to make exciting and thought-provoking outcomes. There was a great atmosphere at our Private View. It was lovely to see the students take pride in the work they have created.”

The exhibition is available to view in the Chaplaincy until the end of this week. Comments in the visitors’ book are welcome.
