On Tuesday 12th December, three of Carmel’s Lower Sixth students had the opportunity to visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg as part of the EPAS Enrichment Programme.
EPAS is the European Parliament Ambassador Schools’ scheme, and all of our students are welcomed to get involved with activities like this and in organising events within college.
Grace, Crina and Dhenisha, travelled to Strasbourg to take part in EuroScola. This is an event that brings together students from across Europe to meet with politicians, activists and academics.
During this event, the focus was on human rights and the role that young people across Europe can play in ensuring everyone’s human rights are protected and respected. Grace, Crina and Dhenisha were praised by the organisers of the event for their participation and contributions to the event. They were fantastic Junior Ambassadors for the EPAS programme!
