Yesterday our Art, Design and Engineering students took part in a design and build workshop ran by Placed Education. The students responded to an industry set brief and collaborated in teams to design and build a 1:1 scale transportable shelter for the homeless.
The experience was invaluable to our students as they were able to creatively work together to refine ideas and present practical solutions responding to real world problems. The day was amazing, thank you to Matt from Place Education and the team for another fantastic workshop.
