Yesterday our A-Level Politics and Philosophy students had a fantastic opportunity to meet Steve Rotheram, Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, at a meeting held in the Dalton Theatre.

Steve spoke about his relatively recent role as City Region Mayor, explaining what it entails. He then answered a range of intelligent questions from students on the issues facing young people today. Topics included knife crime, the environment, mental health, apprenticeships and devolution.

Well done to Lower Sixth student and Student Council member, Eva Carroll, for chairing the meeting so professionally!
