Nineteen of our Upper Sixth students braved the elements to complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Expedition in Keswick.
Some very challenging wet and windy conditions made it incredibly tough for our students. However, they didn’t let it get in their way of achieving their goal at the end of the day.
Camping for 4 nights and walking approximately 15 km per day in mountainous terrain with a full heavy backpack, they more than deserve their award.
The students took five days to complete the expedition. Well done all who took part!
