Thank you so much to our Foundation Learning department who arranged for the North Ashton Brass Band to come into college this week.
It was lovely to listen to them playing as we all sang along to Christmas Carols! Foundation Learning teacher, Karen Bates, plays regularly with the band and we even had a special guest join them – our Principal, Mike Hill, played the Tuba!
Our Foundation Learning students signed to Silent Night, which was very moving. We also enjoyed mince pies and hot chocolate, served by our students. What a lovely way to start the week and raise money for the TUNZA Centre!
