Yesterday afternoon the atmosphere in college was fantastic for the Community Christmas party hosted by the Everton scholars. The aim of the event was to bring together people in the community who are isolated and live on their own.

As well as raising money to host the event through the sale of raffle tickets, the scholars worked hard to make the afternoon really special by setting up, serving food and drinks and calling bingo.

Kate Wilkinson, our college Chaplain said ‘It was an absolutely wonderful event and I truly believe we made a massive difference to the lives of those in our community. The smiles said it all. This is what Christmas is all about!’

It’s fabulous to see our students and staff coming together to spread some Christmas cheer. Thank you to everyone who supported the event.
