We were delighted to welcome RADA graduate, Reg Edwards, into college yesterday to work with our A Level Drama and Theatre students. RegĀ is a representative of the prestigious drama school. Reg gave our students a valuable insight into the audition process, accessing text and monologues, and a Q and A session on the requirements of drama school entry.
The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) offers ‘world-leading vocational training for actors, stage managers, designers and technical stagecraft specialists. Head of Drama and Theatre, Erinna Delaney said. ‘Raising aspirations is part of what we do here at Carmel and to have RADA work with our young people really demonstrates our commitment to this. It was a delight to work with Reg and I’m sure our students are better prepared as a result of his specialist knowledge!’
