There’s been a lot going on in college this week in the lead up to Christmas!
Earlier in the week we held our annual Christmas Jumper Day. Staff and students wore their best festive knitwear to raise money for The Big Issue in Liverpool. We were also treated to a fantastic Christmas lunch in the canteen.
Yesterday we enjoyed Carmel’s Christmas Market. It was a lovely to see so many gorgeous handmade items from both our students and staff! Thank you to everyone who was involved in creating the event.
We also announced the winner of this year’s Christmas Card Competition. The brief was to design a Christmas card which reflected contemporary Christmas values. The vote was extremely close, but staff and students voted for ‘The Grinch’ designed by Art Foundation student, Liv Swift. Well done!
Next week we can look forward to a Christmas Brass Band on Monday and the Carmel Advent Service on Tuesday.
