There were plenty of fundraising activities around college today for Children in Need 2018!

Once again the Carmel Community came together to help raise money for Children in Need. Our cafe staff, Sue and Val, did us proud by donning their best Pudsey jumpers. Meanwhile at break, the students manned our cake sale which went down a treat! Our Chaplain, Kathryn, set up a Mario Kart tournament in the Chaplaincy as well as promoting the annual Duck Race Sweepstake. At lunch time there was competition in the Sports Hall with a staff versus students table tennis tournament.

To top the day off, the Rickshaw Challenge went past the college! Everyone gathered outside the campus to cheer on the team of young people pedalling to make a difference. Even Flo the Cockapoo came along to support.

We are so proud of the efforts of everyone who participated in this year’s Children in Need fundraising. The total donations are still being added up, watch this space for the final amount.
