It’s great to see our Upper Sixth Chemistry students engaged in practical activities in the lab.

Our students have been taking part in an organic synthesis practical as part of their ‘practical endorsement award’ which runs alongside their A Level. This involved preparing 1-bromobutane by heating under reflux. A great opportunity to develop practical skills in preparation for the world of work or higher education.
