Lower Sixth A Level English, Film, Law and Media students recently travelled to New York City for a once in a lifetime trip. This was a brilliant opportunity for our students to see one of the most iconic cities in the United State of America and experience the vibrant culture, architecture, entertainment and more!
Some of the amazing sights that our staff and students saw whilst they were in New York included:
- Times Square
- Central Park
- Statue of Liberty
- Ellis Island
- 9/11 Memorial
- The Empire State Building (in a thunderstorm)
The highlight of the trip was watching the New York Mets play the New York Yankees on their baseball game day in a packed Mets stadium. With plenty of memories made, we are glad to report after nearly walking 20,000 steps a day, our staff and students are back home enjoying some well needed rest!
