Carmel College’s final Open Evening of the year was a resounding success, drawing an impressive 1,900 registered families. With a lively atmosphere, engaging subject displays, and the chance to meet our expert staff, prospective students and their families gained a firsthand look at what makes Carmel a top choice for post-16 education.
A standout moment of the evening was the 200 guidance interviews conducted with eager applicants seeking a conditional offer for September 2025. These one-on-one sessions provided personalised advice on course selections and future goals, reinforcing Carmel’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.
This event capped off a record-breaking season of Open Evenings, attracting over 6,000 prospective students and their families across three events. The overwhelming turnout highlights the increasing demand for places at Carmel, which is renowned for its ‘Outstanding’ teaching, cutting-edge facilities, and student achievement – recognised by Ofsted this year.
While applications remain open, new applicants will now be placed on a waiting list due to high demand. We extend our thanks to all students and families who attended and look forward to welcoming the next generation of Carmel students.
