Seven of our BTEC Business students travelled to Harpenden to attend the ‘Leadership Symposium’ to reward their hard work throughout the year.

It was a fantastic event with world-class speakers. The students learnt about leadership from the most successful people in Business and Sport. Journalist Jeremy Thompson from Sky News was the compere for the day and they listened to many amazing presentations. These included talks from the Chairman of the Co-op, the Former Trade Minister and Managing Director of Waitrose, members of the executive committee of Tesco and the President and CEO of Walmart International. Sports Personalities Martyn Williams MBE and Hannah Cockcroft MBE were also speaking at the event.
