Our Art Foundation students enjoyed engaging in ‘hands on’ activities at several Liverpool galleries last Thursday.
Former Carmel student, Laura Hessey, works in the communications team at the Open Eye Gallery. She invited our students to be the first visitors to experience the new “Climate Wicked Geogame” Exhibition!
The “Climate Wicked Geogame” Studio explores the use of Minecraft as a tool for visitors to envision desirable climate futures. In the LOOK Lab, the group also explored how visitors respond to the climate crisis in a natural and cultural heritage area at risk via architectural, urban and landscape redesign. The students also visited other Liverpool Galleries and enjoyed viewing some of the artwork from Art History lectures first hand.
