Yesterday we welcomed, Anne Gunning, from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) into college to deliver a workshop on growing in containers to our staff and members of the public. Everyone who attended learnt about different growing mediums and how to plant and effectively care for plants in containers. It was great to see everyone getting stuck in and creating some beautiful plant pots for their home!
This was the first of two workshops, the second one will be held on Wednesday 28th March from 10 am until 12:30 pm and will cover how to be resourceful and enterprising in gardening. If you wish to attend, please visit the Carmel College Sensory Garden Facebook page.
