Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

I didn’t get the grades I needed for my desired course. What should I do?

Our subject specialists will be available during your scheduled appointment to discuss all your options. Below, you’ll find our general entry requirements:

  • A Level Study Programme: 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above (or equivalent)
  • BTEC Study Programme: 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
  • T Level Programme: 2 GCSEs at grade 5 and 3 at grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

On holiday during enrolment day?

While attending enrolment day is not mandatory, it is highly recommended to secure your place at the college. If you are unable to attend on the scheduled date, please contact us in advance at admissions@carmel.ac.uk to arrange an alternative enrolment date as soon as possible. Please be aware that places fill up quickly, and we cannot guarantee a spot if you do not enroll promptly. Additionally, please ensure you are familiar with our general entry requirements.

To secure your place, make sure your exam results and a photo ID are uploaded to the college by 5 pm on enrolment day (Thursday, 21st August). You can do this by uploading a photo or scan of your results slip/letter to apply.carmel.ac.uk using the ‘Manage an Existing Application’ option.

We cannot guarantee your place without these documents being uploaded on enrolment day (Thursday, 22nd August).
