Our Foundation Learning students took part in the annual Boccia Festival at Eccles Sixth Form College.

Boccia is a Paralympic Sport which is similar to bowls and was very well organised by the AoC. Our students competed against five other colleges based in the North West region. They took part in 6 games (3 wins and 3 losses). The students supported each other wholeheartedly throughout the day. Out of six colleges, we just missed out on reaching the final on ball difference and lost in a hard-fought 3rd/4th place play off, resulting in an overall 4th place position. What an achievement for the group. The students had a great experience and were so enthusiastic throughout the day. Well done.
