Well done to Upper Sixth students Agustin Montemurro and James West who entered the British Physics Olympiad Competition.
This year over 2,100 students participated in Round 1 across the UK and a further 1,300 students in China. The aim of the paper is to stretch and challenge the top young physicists in the country. Every question is a real challenge so all credit to the candidates who are willing to take part in such a demanding national competition.
Congratulations to Agustin who earned a commendation and James who received an amazing Bronze level 1 award; Carmel’s highest ever grade!
