Our BTEC Performing Arts (Theatre) students participated in an acting workshop with The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

This was a fantastic opportunity for skills development. As well as this, the group gained an insight into what it would be like to study at Royal Central. All our students participated with enthusiasm and found it really enjoyable. Taster sessions like these are are just one of the many opportunities on offer within the Performance Department.

Many of our former students have gone on to study at top UK drama schools. Millie Nelson, who left Carmel in 2018, got in touch recently to let us know how she’s getting on studying Applied Theatre Arts at Royal Central. She said ‘If it wasn’t for the opportunities and staff at Carmel, I wouldn’t have been able to get where I am today“.
