Yesterday our BTEC Performing Arts and A Level Drama students attended a Drama School Audition Workshop.

James Wilson, from the prestigious Arts Educational Drama School, delivered a two hour session exploring the demands and opportunities their undergraduate programmes can offer.

James, who is a former ArtsEd graduate, is currently an outreach officer, actor and teacher. His valuable experience and knowledge provided our students with a wealth of help, guidance and advice. During the workshop they explored their skills working on focus, discipline, imagination and creativity. They also had the the opportunity to participate in a Q and A session.

At Carmel we pride ourselves on the opportunities we provide to our students, particularly to access excellent progression and higher education courses. Many of our Drama students go on to study Drama and related subjects at prestigious institutions.
