Former Media Studies student, Danny Leigh, has been in touch to let us know how he’s getting on. After achieving a First Class Honours Degree in Media Production from Liverpool John Moores University, Danny had the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects in the UK and abroad. He now attends an acting school in Manchester.
Here’s what Danny had to say…
“Since my time at Carmel, I’ve been involved in projects that I would never have imagined possible. From travelling to Malta as a backstage photographer, working in America filming theatre shows, to settling down in Manchester and working on Coronation Street.
Currently, I’m in the process of flipping the script entirely, as I’m attending an acting school in Manchester, while working at a casting agency to keep money coming in.
None of this would’ve been possible had it not been for my tutors at Carmel. I will be forever grateful for the support I received from every tutor across all of my subjects, but a special thank you goes out to Kath Hopkins and Hannah Thomas; without your guidance as a pair, I never would have had the confidence and drive to push myself at university and achieve more than I ever could have hoped for. Thank you so much Carmel College for everything you do on behalf of your students!”
We would like to congratulate Danny on all he has achieved so far and wish him all the very best for the future. Keep in touch!
