Fifteen of our A Level Criminology students visited Edge Hill University for a ‘Policing on Campus’ experience. The experience was an introduction on pathways into policing, including insights on undergraduate degrees in Professional Policing that explore the criminal justice system, crime scene investigation, cyber crime and the treatment of offenders.

Our students then visited Edge Hill’s crime house for a ‘Hide like a Criminal’ and ‘Act like a cop’ practical workshop, afterwards they visited the ‘courtroom’ for a simulated courtroom experience, as well as investigating the set up involved for the custody suite and holding cell.
