Foundation Learning student goes behind the scenes in our Marketing department.

Work Experience is a brilliant learning opportunity for young people. It allows them to try different things and helps them discover their strengths and what they really enjoy. On Friday we welcomed Foundation Learning student, Faye Hutton, into our Marketing Department as part of her Work Experience placement. Our Marketing Assistant, Katy, gave Faye an insight into what goes on behind the scenes in Marketing. Katy explained what her role involves, from scheduling all the Social Media posts, to photographing events around college and creating and designing advertising materials that are used internally and externally. Faye was eager to get involved and took some photos of our Holocaust Memorial Service and created a poster for an upcoming event in the Foundation Learning department.

Faye said, "today was great, it was the best experience and I learnt so much about what Katy does in her job. I rate today 10/10 and I would love to do it again!"
