Carmel offers a range of pathways that include courses of the highest quality with excellent achievement rates. These are designed to meet the specific needs of individual students.
There are more than 40 Advanced Level courses on offer and most subjects have several classes so there is lots of flexibility when it comes to choosing your subjects!
You can study up to five A Level subjects but most students will study four subjects, reducing to three in their second year. You may decide to study a BTEC at Level 3 alongside one or two A Levels. The choice is yours!
Students who show strong academic ability in their GCSEs may have the opportunity to study Critical Thinking and may also consider studying for the Extended Project Qualification. Information regarding these will be given at a later date once you have started college.
Foundation Learning courses are negotiated individually, according to student needs.
